The Protognosis Institute is ultimately governed by a Board of Directors with the fiduciary responsibility to oversee the operation of the institute having the primary legal duties of care, loyalty and obedience. In addition to the requirments of most other non-profits, Protognosis board members must be practicing Hellenes (the context of the word Hellene is a person with who lives by the principles of Hellenism, as opposed to an individual from the country of Greece).
As part of its oversight responsibility, the board must monitor and approve or disapprove of the actions and performance of the staff. All staff members work at the pleasure of the Board.
